Ok you want a portable Xbox.

1)Go get a really old laptop computer case, gut it, and put the Xbox mobo in it.
2)Now copy your Xbox hard drive on to a laptop hard drive.
3)Replace the PSU with a ATX/ITX one that is much smaller.
4)Install the controller ports in the case.
5)Connect batteres to the PSU.
6)Install 7" LCD screen into the housing for the old LCD.

Congrats you now have a portable Xbox.

I'm kinda willing to say that using lead acid batteries and the original xbox case shouldn't be considered portable

Also, not having a dvd drives means that you must have backups of any game you want to play on the hdd , which sucks.

I'll say this, thats the cheapest way to make an XBOX portable. I'll admit the its nice someone finally did it. Anyways these about the only way your going to get an Xbox portable, make it like the Treamcast.

Sega left the Hardware portion of videogames. I think its time to admit they dont care. Their not loosing money so what reason would they have to go after pirate that make a console they produced last. They should be happy they the Dreamcast has out lived the that section of the company in one way.

man if you set up an xbox portable it would have to have some great wirless capabilities but that might be to much...hm...i mean i wouldnt mind if the thing was pretty damn big (just put it on your lap) but the controller segment would be hard, just cause i love the big controllers.
