They just showed up at the delivery address (2 hours away) so the first preorders will be getting shipped Monday, barring any unforeseen events

Their disgusting shorts are enough to make me not want to use them. I don't want my packages handed to me by some guy wearing tiny poop clothes.Tchay wrote:Marshallh, you probably know, but UPS sucks balls. They smash stuff, and their uniforms are outrageous.

Excellent news! If your preorder ships, will you be getting an email? Not necessary (for me at least), but just curious.marshallh wrote:They just showed up at the delivery address (2 hours away) so the first preorders will be getting shipped Monday, barring any unforeseen events

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
Marshallh, what will be the description of the package on the custom form?
The Germans always ask for this information and compare my answer with the information on the package. If my answer and the description on the package differ, I have to open the package in front of them and have to explain them the general usage of the content.

Man I really hope to get one of these bad boys soon, but I haven't even placed my order yet. I'm going to end up like the second batch of pandora orderers.

I paid for mine the very next day after the preorders where available (07/08/2011 00:15:59 GMT-05:00), is it normal that I haven't received the shipping notice?

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
The microSD slot is not removable, if you want to can solder a fullsize (or any sized) SD slot to these vias and put it wherever you want. At your own risk, of course.

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
People are going to be cutting these up, trying to make them smaller... You may even get the occasional hacker which will try and dump + decode the EEPROM (I think you have the EP2C4 on it)...
Should be interesting to see what some people can do with it in their hands
Also did a web.archive view of your old 'cart emulator thread'. Took a while to track down, but you have been on one long journey to this day Marshall.
I will not disclose the link, as Marshall has done this for personal / security reasons.
