One observation - whenever I used thin wires for the capacitor relocations my systems didn't work, had to use thick wire instead - notice you are using thin IDE cable - if your system fails to work properly, try changing the wires!

Yeah, but I've had some my self, they aren't as adhesive as you'd think, it's more like it's own thermal paste. And since it's going to be a portable it's going to be shaken up a bit more than a vga card what it's meant for, it's better than opening your case up every time they start jiggling around.

you should've seen what I did to my old Geforce 2 video card

I ripped the heatsink of an older TNT 2 card. stuck flux on the bottom to act as a thermal paste, tied the thing onto the card using dental floss, and mounted a fan onto the heatsink. overclocked the living daylights out of that thing.

Indeed, a couple of shakes and they come off if not secured in place.

Note that the fan is no longer attached since its not in a computer right now. I think I'm using the fan as a molex power extension right now.

Hey, sorry peeps, I can't finish this today. I need to go to my dad's house and I can't bring all my stuff. I'll be able to work on it Sunday night. Sorry. :(
