What a terrible idea for a case.

I'm with you on this... I just might not cut my mobo down. I'm still a noob. LOL

My portable is finished, with the exception of a hole I need to dremel, and I also need to firmly attach the screne because it broke off last time.

Today I soldered the two replacement ram chips to the my new n64 ala daftmike style. I also prepped the wires for the third time that I'll successfully relocate the cart slot to the RCP. :D

Screen died, though. Gotta save up some monies to get a new one.

Heh heh heh... I have done away with it as well. Sorry to hear about that, though. Is your portable going to be small enough for a hip gear, a bit bigger?

I don't know the size of a hip gear, and I am much too lazy to look it up, and even then I wont answer your question to keep my secrets secret! :P

Portabilizing has evolved too much. Gone are the days when you could enter a poorly-made unchopped N64 in an N64 case with a random pocket TV and crappy controls.

I really want to build an N64p, but I can't get parts cheap enough. My dad's being a jerk about it too, which is part of the reason why I want to do it so much. But enough about me. Good luck to you all. Except you, ShockSlayer. I hope you fall down a staircase made of pillows.

I wish I could fall down a staircase made of pillows...all i ever fall down are regular stairs :(

Darn portablizing is a costly thing it would seem....I can't land a good new screen for any cheap number. Not to mention the costly-ness of a fancy disk drive....
