I'm opting for PSP-110...
I believe PSP-110 is what the OP used, and it is what I used. I don't think that it works with the PSP slim as a regular battery -- I think it can only operate as a service mode battery. I was never able to power on my PSP Slim using an unmodified PSP-110 battery. However, perhaps my PSP-110 battery didn't have enough charge before I modified it. I didn't test it extensively as a normal battery since I only bought it to make it into a pandora.

On a separate note, it seems that 4GB cards might not work as a MMS. I have read mixed results when using them -- perhaps it depends on the brand as well. At any rate, I will see if I get different results when I make my MMS from a 256MB stick instead (currently the 4GB stick followed all the steps in this guide, including obtaining the msipl.bin, etc files and the PSP won't read the memory stick when booting with my pandora battery. Like I said, I think it's because my memory stick is 4GB. Will get back with results.)

sperry, I'm not sure if a PSP slim battery can be modified using this method -- I believe they have a different motherboard.

You might need to buy a PSP "phat" battery.

Hello...

I have a psp-110 battery model with the same small board than JimVel

My questions are :

1) Can I with this model transform the battery in Pandora ?

2) If yes, which is the modification I must make ?

Pnoi, here's a good guide for downgrading without the use of a CFW psp phat.

http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread ... 424&page=5

I am not actually sure that you CAN downgrade a 3.71 official. You will need to do some reading, but that guide should have most everything you'll need (assuming that it is possible to downgrade a 3.71)

Also of note, I don't think a 4GB card can be used as a magic memory stick. I can't get my pandora psp to read the memory stick and I think it's because my magic memory stick was made on a 4GB card. It should be 1GB or less, I think. Maybe 2GB is ok too.
