Chopping My '95 SNES

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Well, if you could cut it wouldn't someone on this froum have done it before? Thats the way I look at it.

My advice is this:

Only cut where you see large amounts of metallic ground strips. (AKA the sides between the cart connector and the front.)

I did this personally, and I only trimmed a few millimeters off close to the regulator and the opposing side.

There are few, if NO traces at all where there the grounding strips are.

DO NOT trim any board on the front (where the controllers connect), there are lots of little traces that connect the controller ribbon cable.

Hope this helps.
If all else fails, take it apart!
