i think that's right. and to answer the screen regulator questions, the PSone screen has 2 7805s but it also has some components before the 7805s so it can't take more than 9v. it should work on 7.2-9v

Yes the inner wire (+) goes to the red RC connector, and the outer wire (-) goes to the black wire.
im probally gonna sell my DS and my ps2 so that should get me enough $
If you sell the DS you should be fine, BTW is it a Slim PS2? Anyway, this project isn't very exspensive at all. My total was under $40 if I remember correctly.

is that controller built in, if it is u got a deal, um....can you put analog sticks above the 2 buttons at the bottom(power and eject i think) i would like analog sticks. Also my ps2 is just the regular version 4 ps2. I like it, but i think a portable ps1 would be so much cooler, and now my friend is in on it too, h'es gonna help make these. We will make 3 ps1p's, 2 for us and 1 will go for sale on ebay. If i were to sell one....how much would you people pay?

This might help you if you want to move them closer to the controls above. I personally would go with atka's idea, since analog sticks should be out of the way as they are almost never used.

hey thats pretty cool, i might fool around with that.....still didn't go to radioshack  but going over weekend! Gotta go to Gamestop and EB-Games to buy the psone and lcd if they have.....or i'll use good ol ebay! oh yeah, if you have a 9.6 volt battery pack( 8 batteries ) and you take 2 out to make it 7.2 volts ( 6 batteries ) then rewire them together, will it work?

probably, and if you were to buy mine you would have to wire a controller again, this one is shot, i would include 4 of the radioshack buttons and some tact switches

well keep it handy, i might buy it. BTW, since i do not own a psone and the lcd......when you plug the lcd in does itplug into the power port on the back of the psone, and have one port on the back of the lcd to power both, or will i have to make 2 adapters. I think it leaches off the psones port, but im not sure. Can some1 verify this?

Yes the LCD has some pass-through ports for the power. You only need to make one adapter.

Hey thanks,
I plan on adding some more pictures soon, feel free to leave any comments you may have through the guestbook. I thought if people complete units using my guide I should post their pictures on the site. I could add other stuff too. Just let me know.
