So what if it's old? I don't think that matters. Just because it was an older thread doesn't make my post irrevelent.

But seriously, why wouldn't it be okay to bring up old threads if you have something to add to it?

you see there is a slight flaw in your logic, your question WAS IRRELAVANT! this thread is almost a YEAR OLD so you bring it back to ask where the start and select buttons are? thats stupid you PM the person who made it and hope to get an answer or you just go "oh well, not that it matters too much"

It isn't the end of the world, but reviving an old thread just to ask a question which could as easily be asked in PMs is something that some of us don't like to see.

It is frowned upon here to bring back old threads unless there has been a new development in the thread's topic or a substantial update, and it would save the person from making a new thread. This doesn't really qualify as a new development or an update.
