If you hooked your power source to the 7805's output, you're screwed. You fried the board.

Well I didn't hook up my power source to the 7805 I was using the AC jack still. I hooked the screen to the 7805 pins incorrectly and now the system doesn't power on. Did that still fry my board or did it just mess up the regulator?
