Has anybody a good tutourial/instructions for building a fume hood?

if you have a bathroom the chances are it will have heat lights and an exhaust fan fitted.
go get yourself a decent sized drop-sheet and use that :)

if you dont want to do that, go get yourself a length of that silver ducting tube.
find yourself a fan (either a large pc fan, from a microwave whatever) try and get the fan the sae size as the tube.

attach the fan so it is outside, having a window slightly open and using it to wedge the fan in place is good.
figure out a way to the tube to the fan.

get something to prop the other end of the tube near the area you painting (e.g. 30cm away)
power the fan with an old pc psu etc.

visit demo sites, for fan housing and ducting. 3M is the best bet for a quality mask.

I wired my first apartment with reclaimed light sockets. Any thing that works is worth using
