yea, for instnace, i could run the nus-01's 3.3v line at 5v, i was testing using an old atx psu, and it did not fry or anything, it got a little warmer, cuase thats what happens, but at least you have a extra tolerance

The PIF is the security chip, so by connecting a NTSC PIF to a PAL N64(with some switches to change between the PAL and NTSC chips) you can make a system which plays games from both regions. You can do this either way of course.

ok i returned my non working n64 today they give me a new one and guess what the exact same thing happened

i hate when that happens. if my next one dies, i'll probably build a PSP. i was playing my playstation last night and i realized it was better than n64 and i've heard it's one of the easiest to portablize
