Technically yeah, there's no problem with doing that. I still don't know if it'd be fair/correct to do this.
@bacteria: people who don't mind being contacted would've made their contact information public in their profile. Just as you made it so anyone can e-mail you through your profile. Also, people might have it set up so they get an e-mail whenever they receive a PM; I have it that way.
This showcase is supposed to be an outlet for your own work.
You guessed wrong then. Ben has a ton of projects (obviously), but he let me know that he's going to get his projects up there as soon as he has time. It's going to be a subsection that Ben promotes, so hopefully that'll make this thing very popular.

I think the showcase is awesome. I've really been missing this kind of catalogue of projects since other sights have gotten out of date. I wish I was able to contribute something now.
