I think you'd need like 7 different wireless connections.
1-3) Each controller to the main portable-thing/system.
4-7) A signal to each individual TV.

Yeah, obviously. But didn't they have wireless controllers for the N64? I'm pretty sure they did... Just use those for the controller board and wire them into the host unit (the recieving end). Right?

Yea. HipGear makes wireless, and they make screen pads, but not both in one.

OOPS. I have been running 3 computers at the same time as I do my homework and play my sax, so I opened this thread like an hour ago, and and didn't refresh before replying.
The connections would be like this:
1-4 controller transmitter/reciever on both base and controllers
5 AV transmitter from base unit
6-9 (4 identical boards) AV recievers in controllers

I don't remember them ever creating a wireless controller for the N64. That thing only works between the transmitter and reciever, so your neighbour won't be picking up your games.

Yea. HipGear makes the LCD screen pad controller combo, and they also (used to) make wireless controllers, but they have never combined the 2.

You don't need separate receivers for the different screens. Just build a small VHF transmitter for the main system. Then for the other ones, just use a pocket tv for the screen. Then you turn each of them to an unused channel you specify(usually between 2 and 6) and it will be on the screen. Of course any TV's within so many feet will be able to pick it up as well, but if you're doing it on a channel that's not used in your area, it's no big deal.

1. You are still using 4 receivers, they are just premade.
2. That is a lot more expensive.
3. You will end up with a worse reception, because the lower channels are used for so many things. Once I stuck a wire out the back of my TV, and started picking up some weird things, ranging from walkie talkies, to some fuzzy Mexican TV stations.

2. Still, it would be smaller and easier.
3. If you build a good, strong transmitter, you won't have those problems.

2. It won't be much smaller, because you need most of the TV for it.
3. If you buy the things from above, you already have a strong transmitter, as well as a prototype layout for the other 3 controllers.
