I'll enter maybe...how about we all do a outrageous modding project and send it in to a site like engadget and make a video of it and on the back will be APRIL FOOLS! written on it(That's actually not a bad idea)
I haven't been here in awhile, and looking back it's one of the worst ideas I ever had. I'm back and I'll be here for awhile, I was quite active 1 year ago and I hope to become that again.

I say take it one step further. On April 1st, we all submit awesome fake mods. Then, Engadget will either post them and look like idiots, or people will think they are real and look like idiots. Then, we point and laugh.

Sounds like a plan to me!

That's the best idea yet. It's time to make the engadget idiots look like idots.

Then on we go to the portable that are a half inch thick with 20 hour battery life. We'll say it's a break through in portablizing that only members of the benheck forums know.

If this were to be pulled off, all discussion about these things being a fake should be confined to this thread. The news threads should make no mention of them being fake. And, we would have to make the somewhat plausible (No 360 laptops in an ibook case with 9001 hours of battery life).

@eurddrue: The flood of newbs will be stemmed by the fact that Engadget will probably have to admit these were april fools jokes.

Not if we changed the name to something that nobody cared about. Anybody who would be doing this is probably the kind of person to read all the threads, but a guest would not.

Perhaps edit your first post to be a lame blogging post, then we can edit all our posts on the first page to match. I doubt any guests will bother reading to page 2, much less past the first post, in a lame blogging thread.
