Yep, looks like you cut that trace there.
It ALSO looks like you bridged Pins 5 and 6.

If I were you, I'd first check out that bridge there, and see if you can fix it. (Test to see if it actually exists first of course)

After that, then I'd go about fixing the trace.
Being that the cut is so very small, I'd just scrape off a little insulation and bridge it directly with solder.

Umm, how do I test to see if there is a bridge?

And can I fix the scrape without solder?

Multimeter. Continuity mode, probe both pins.

You could make some conductive glue, but soldering would be way quicker and easier.

Soldering glue?
How do you make it?

And i have absolutely no way to test the voltage of the battery, besides shoving a LED into it and watching what happens...
Any help?

But seriously, you need some tools dude.
You clearly don't have the tools to even diagnose, much less fix this.
And for the price of a multimeter and a soldering iron, you could buy 3 new batteries :P

Seriously, if you don't already have all the stuff you need to fix this, you may as well buy a Normal Battery and a ready-made Pandora.

I know...

So any ideas why my PSP's charging light flickers on and off?

Something odd caused by those bridged pins I'd assume.
Or possibly something else.

WHAT?! A multimeter and soldering iron is WAY cheaper than 3 batteries (well good ones anyway). Not to mention that those are essential tools that every hacker needs.

Lol. I saw a cheap soldering iron for like $13; heats up to like 800 degrees.
I have a little LED lamp to test circuits with, so I'm fine...

LOL I didn't say good ones!

Cheapo Soldering Iron is about $9.
$1 for solder.
$15 for a crappy multimeter.

$25?
That's an 1800mah battery AND a Pandora, easily.
Or a really nice Dual-Mode battery.

Wow,

I am glad that I had not updated my PSP past 2.6 so I could just use the TIFF exploit,
I would have never been able to do this.

But I think you should just buy a Ready-made Pandora's Battery because it is just much faster.
