Need help with power supply wiring

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

sorry for double posting but is that DPDT switch on the diagram the one that came with the radica or is it a separate switch aside from the radica switch?

They may save space, but you lose a lot more in running time. Most AAAs are less than half the capacity of AAs, and quite often, even less than a third. This is fine if you don't plan on playing long, and don't mind recharging every half hour, but if you plan on getting past the start menu of a game, you need something with a higher capacity. Don't even think about trying a 9volt, because it is less than half of a AAA.

I say go with a light-weight miniature rechargeable battery with high capacity, such as a camcorder battery. For real juice, go with 4 D cells. That is 6V at 21.5A if you use Energizer e2 Alkaline(with about 568g(approx 1.3Lbs)).
