Yea but you never know what might happen... What If your friend got the expansion of something you wanted? Also do you play online with this sorry if its a stupid Question.WompaStompa11 wrote:I didn't include it since I felt I didn't need it and besides I could always reattach the Hard drive to an unmodified 360 to transfer files and what not.LoyalistRevolt wrote:What about the Mem card port?

it probably overheats due to the plastic being an insulator, and well, it take a good study of aerodynamics to discover how the air flows properly in the case, therefore the hot air only gets hotter and after 3 minutes...wham-o shut down
a fan in front may help pull in some cold air and extrude the hot air out the back via the three fans you have
also, juice up the fans, make em run a little faster, also, take a laptop fan and place it a top the main processor area, this would help move more air to the pipes and cool it down
These are just quick thoughts study your main causes of heat and try to tackle each individually

Yes, it has a built in Wi Fi adapter and I do plan on playing online.LoyalistRevolt wrote:Yea but you never know what might happen... What If your friend got the expansion of something you wanted? Is it possible to make the fans run faster? And I do have two fans in the front already. I don't know how much room on top of the heatsinks there is for another fan.Krepticor wrote:it probably overheats due to the plastic being an insulator, and well, it take a good study of aerodynamics to discover how the air flows properly in the case, therefore the hot air only gets hotter and after 3 minutes...wham-o shut down

What? Fans just move the heat around, so the 360 won't get cooler than the outside air. Unless your house is very cold, you couldn't have too much cooling. And the only bad thing cold could do is cause water to condense and short something.HotDog-Cart wrote:Just remember, don't get it too cold or it wont operate.

Yo its me again
wanted to ask about the case how hard was it to make? Also how many heatsink and fans do you have in total I would be more that happy to send you a free fan if you need it
Edit: it there a way to get the fans to run the opposite way so they suck air out?

The case wasn't too hard to make, but it was time consuming. I used 3 heatsinks plus 4 fragments of heatsinks. I have many fans; I tried using 11 fans, but it still overheats in 15 minutes, so I ordered some watercooling parts.LoyalistRevolt wrote:Yo its me againwanted to ask about the case how hard was it to make? Thanks for offering a free fan though...
