well i fixed the image for the Back View, the case only for mats is about $80-100 if you had to start out with nothing and build it. have to buy fiberglass resin, fiberglass matt, puddy, glazing puddy, primer, and paint. and sand paper of course. and im not sure what they are called, but the things at a hobby store where people mount the fake flowers to is what i used to make for my base mold then wrapped it in fiberglass. they are the little green blocks that dent real easy just pushing on them. very easy and quick to sand down and use as a mold.
of course i had most of these things lying around since i do car body work and painting so it only cost me an extra $20 for paint. i didnt use auto paint for it as i originally planned. auto paint is expensive and i didnt want to waste money on my 1st portable cuz i knew it wouldnt be perfect. i used Testors paint form the Model Masters series, it has a base and clear coat system, which is the way to go. for my next ill use auto paint because unlike spray cans, auto paint doesnt air dry, it has a catalyst(hardener) in it. thats why cars are so much more resilient when they are dinged or scratched instead of the paint just chipping. but im getting ahead of myself here

so the case is made of fiberglass, congrats im pretty sure thats a first for the forum! pretty damn good looking to boot. of course for the small size of a portable you could probably get it down to 40 or 50$ in parts cost from US composites or something. im planing some custom fiberglass work sometime in the future so any suggestions would be awesome
