I tested only at this battery model:virus13 wrote:Hi,
I just cut the leg 4 and 5, and the battery works perfectly but does not seem pandorisé ...
The console does not turn on automatically.
it worked fine for me, but like I said I´m not sure about other batteries correct pins, But I´m sure there will be a place on internet that ask about your battery(I spent lot of hours for found my battery pinout), anyway here is a clue if you want to experiment, as you can see, on my battery, that pin is wired directly to a cell "- pole", that means you can search for a pin that goes directly the battery - wire. You also can use a multimeter for make things easier
thats how the pandora mod works, when the switch is off, it simply cut the identification chip power, so it got a 0 value identification, and the system power on automatic.
as you can see the external psp battery have 3 wires
*power +
*power -
*DATA!!!!! (a custom "0" data allow to pandora mode)
do it by software is identical but, instead of switch off the chip by hardware, it flash by a psp app a new ident value for the battery chip wich will allow boot on pandora mode
please help
thus anyone know if this guide is correct because if it is i can now hardmod my battery also if it is does anyone know a method of how to cut the pin without soldering
