My modded PSone screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

I though he looked like this :P ... Image
(No, just because barney is fat and purple that doesn't mean you should judge him for dancing and singing with 6 yr. olds. :P )

Your'e both horribly wrong... sadly I'm not a fat purple dancing dinosaur, but I wish I was sometimes (like today for some reason)

I'm not going to post a piccy of me on the photo thread because I can't find a good one of me.

Ohh my God! i have to do this... Doesn't that put more stress ont he cathode light? They prolly have that regulated for a reason. I figured you could replace the resistor with a weaker one to make the display a LITTLe brighter, but not THAT much you know? I'll try it out. I need a switch to turnt he LCD on and off when I play the PSOne through a TV. I thought the LCD would recognize the AV Out being used for a TV and NOT turn on. Maybe its supposed to, I did re-build all this after failing my portable project... It's not the best, but looks perfect.

It doesn't do anything to the CCFL, it just changes the image brightness/contrast of the lcd itself.
