Got Street Fighter 2 Championship Edition (Genesis), Sonic 1 (Genesis) and Sonic Adventure 2 (Gamecube) for $13 at the local pawn shop. Sonic 1 doesn't want to work though.

That sometimes is not the case, though. My copy of sonic 1 does not work either. I must have spent half a bottle of alcohol on that game, and it still does not work. I am certain it's a corrupt game.

There's some that I have had to sand the contacts on. I have on copy of the legend of zelda that is messed up (won't work, no matter what).

I've cleaned it with alcohol. I don't want to sand the contacts but I might. The game is in pretty bad condition, it was probably someone's favorite game (you know, the one that gets played EVERY DAY).

I used, I think 400 grit sandpaper, but it could have been 600 or 800.

N64 console (no cables, power, etc)
SMS console (no cables, power, etc)
plug'n'play Namco
PSone controller
N64 rumble/memory pack
and a third party SNES controller
I found a set of component cables for the PS3 at Wal-Mart yesterday. This wouldn't be unusual in itself except for the fact that the only set I've ever seen there also includes a USB cable and sells for $40; this set was only $17.99, Sony-brand. Judging by the wear on the packaging, I think it must have been hidden somewhere in the electronics department for months, if not years, and someone found it. Since it was fairly cheap and I plan on upgrading my TV in the near future, I bought them.
