MGC 2011 thread!

Looks like I'm going to have to start saving my money again. Because I really want to go back to MGC again this year.

But my problem is again, figuring out some ways to make me some money. Because I'm in collage right now and I don't have a job. One idea I have is hauling some scrap after school to make me some extra money.

Anyways, I'm still on the fence about how I'll be getting to MGC this year. Will I be flying up to there, or if I'm going to be driving up to there.

Looks like I can go this year!

My dad decided it would be a nice vacation, we'll even be staying at the sheraton hotel, so we'll be there constantly. Plus I'm bringing 3 classic game enthusiasts (ie my friends). Sounds like i won a sweepstakes or something.

So now I have enough money to buy stuff when I get there!

I just hope some more people from benheck will be there this year.

And I hope to finish a portable before then too.

Hooray! I'll have to make a point to meet you in person. (but since you'll be staying at the Sheraton and will be there constantly, I would think it'd be hard to miss you

I don't like planes. makes me feel helpless when i get to a destination because i would have to rely on a cab

I am driving up with Reset Vector. Most likely it won't be 100% complete but it will be playable.

For what it's worth, the Sheraton (which is hosting the event) has a free airport shuttle. Yes, you'd have to rely on that if you arrive, but it's not that big of a deal. 10 minute wait and you're on your way

I just filed my taxes and I may be able to save enough of the return to get down there. I know I'll have enough, I just don't know if I SHOULD spend it on the trip
