Who has added a cartridge slot?

How many people here have successfully added a cartridge slot to their radica?

not me, its a vary extensave procedure to rip and soulder a cart slot to the radica, i gave up after a few messed and non confermed messed boards.. but noacs are ezy and cheap too (just more rare, and less sonic, but more mario)

Well, I cheated on mine...

You know SCSI ribbon cable, its female connector is used to take the card edge PCB of a floppy drive. Since the genesis had a 64 pin on, I found a 64 pin female with SCSI. So i just soldered on. Works like a charm, but a lot of hacking and time is required.

I haven't, but I'm putting one on my portable... Sonic 2 is better than 1... plus I like Comix Zone too.

What do you need to see? Its wires soldered to solder points, kind of self explainatory.

For me, seeing everything up close is helps me understand more what to expect. I understand that its a lot of soldering, but its just something that helps me get through the whole process.

Hi everyone, i am new to these forums, just thought i'd say hi to all the legendary portabilsers on this board. I agree with xriverfalconx, i would like some closer pcitures, i have just ripped open a radica and have got me a cartridge slot from a broken Mega Drive (Genesis) 2. With a bit of luck i may be able to portabalise it
