I was talking about the episode of The Simpsons called Das Bus, which mocks Lord of the Flies. They get trapped on an island, and the fat kid (dont remember his name, havent watched the show in a long time) eats some bad berries, and says "they taste like burning..." when Bart asks how they are.

Or the one episode where Lisa has the EXTRA spicey sauce. Her pupils dialate and she says "I can see through time..."...

Here's one of my favorites, sorry it's a "smell" instead of a "taste":

Barry Sharpless [...] said that the oddest smell he ever experienced was the compound [...] that smelled exactly like a blow to the back of the head. Or maybe that was the floor rushing up at him that made it resemble a blow to the back of the head.

(From Science Jokes:12. PRANKS AND ACCIDENTS, search the page for "watermelon" and find this in the next paragraph.)
Mum! Dad! Don't touch it! It's EEE-VIL!

Sponge you got very close to typing Arnold in your little laughter thing. If you had, I'd be compelled to talk in that god awful accent. Be glad things didn't come to that.

Right now I have the board basically all designed. I need to order some parts and a prototype PCB just to make sure it's functional though :)
