HotDog-Cart wrote:ill show a PIC (since i cant make a vid) of a Game running (built in game, since its the easist to run)....but i shouldnt have called it an Emulator..since it only runs 1 Built in rom.....but it runs Normal game Carts liek earthbound (liek it runs Normal Snes game, you just put the Snes Game, or GB Game on the Slot, and it plays on the Computer screen)

if you dont understand, its like a normal Game Console that runs, 1 Built in Emulator, and runs GB Games and Snes Games

and ill take a pic of the board and ill take a pic of everything togther..:)
right there i corrected myself, as i know i confused people by calling it an emulator when its more like a HomeMade console...Mybad

Wait waitwaitwait...

what the hell is it then?

It's not an emulator... OK.

It's not a real SNES/GB board... uh huh...

It uses the laptop's screen as its screen... um... OK.

you "made" a fake board... no comment

you said
5)Some times The emulator will Load the Snes game instead of the GB game
, but you also said that you added a PHYSICAL SWITCH that chooses between the GB and SNES boards.

If it's not emulation, and not a real board, then what the hell is it?

How did you build it?
How long did it take?
What went into it?
How did you use the laptop as a screen?
What code did you write to the chips with your EPROM burner?
What is the meaning of life? ;)

CURIOUS PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW!

I think he's lying through his teeth, there's NO WAY to use a laptop as a screen, for starters...

Theres no way a kid, who was dumb enough to get banned from the Benheck forums (which is kind of hard), could do any of this (except the lieing-through-his-teeth part).

its a Computer Mother Board Modifyed by my brothers freind Jonny
and its more like a homemade 2 in 1 Console (to sytems in one console...kinda hard to explain)

Jonny and I, wired the Board up to the laptop screen (the laptop has VGA Output), but im not sure how Jonny did his part becuase he took it home one night and "worked" Magic

it took about 3 weeks, with Multiple people working on it.

its just a Modifyed mother boards, that Jonny Modifyed, so...theres not much to say about how we made it..lol

and whats a EPROM Burner?

and im not a dumb kid, its called, i learned how to do this stuff from my brothers freind Jonny

Okay, so you didnt lie, exactly, you just forgot to mention that its a computer, which is nothing special.

EDIT -- I'm suddenly reminded of IFR's portable gaming 1337 uber machine that was just a laptop with a game pad. That thread was locked pretty quickly if I remember right.

sorry if i confused you :(

but like this thing is cool becuase it can run normal game Cartridges..and i sue the laptops keyboard for controlls

liek i take a snes game put it in the slot(located on the modifyed motherboard) and it plays on the laptop screen

and its not jusat a laptop with a gaming pad..not close....

its a system that has to built in systems in it, that runs off a Computer screen...lol

but its not an emulator..or anything its just like i put a GB game or a Snes game in the slot and it plays..lol

Soo... Your bro's friend's dad's cousin's former roomate's ex-girlfriend's grandma helped you bake a SNES/GB/laptop with bootleg frosting?
I am super confused and some pictures would help.

nah, this thread will do. new topics can be annoying when a reply would do. I'm going to move this to the SNES forum, if somebody thinks it should go in forum 42 more, go for it.

You better explain your self very quickly, and you are not making a new thread. You can post the images here, you make a second thread I'll lock it before you can make a second post!
