After looking at most N64ps and reading Ben's story, I wonder if it would be possible to have an N64p with an expansion pak instead of the jumper pak. The main reason I'm asking this is because I just got Majora's mask and my expansion pak, and I want to be able to play it on my N64p (when I make it). Is there a fairly uncomplicated way to make this work (without having it stick out of the case or anything), or will I end up selling the game and the pak? I am willing to solder all of the connections if that's what it takes.
well, I know you can remove the actual expansion pack pcb, and then just add your own heatsink...that should cut down on the size to about an inch or so
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!
That's what I did before my N64 fried... Just glue on a Pentium heatsink cut down to size, then relocate the expansion slot to a place where it will lay flat. I think Majora's Mask is totally worth that.

Damn right Majora's Mask is worth it(and of course Perfect Dark). An N64p is only half complete without an expansion pak.

Do you people not know the wonders of a $2 antistatic wrist strap? I have opened my N64, messed around and put it back together, and it still works. Why? Because I didn't kill it with static.
