if i cut the controller than what do i solder the wires onto so i can put the buttons into diferent spots?

that would work but it doesn't matter where on the thread you solder as long as it's on the right thread

is there an easier way then cutting it? cause i need the buttons on different sides of the screen.

yes. here's the 2 ways to relocate it. i just finished it to put in an N64p guide thing i'm making
. this is D-pad and joystick, but you do the same thing. those things with a black dot in them on the separate pcb are tact switches

you're putting a guide together? thats awesome, i cant seem to find one that really explains everything. when will it be ready? is it on a website where i can see it?

cool, i cant wait to see it, cause i really need it bad lol.
if i cut only the dpad off, that wont interfere with the other side right

what if i nipped a piece of the right side of the right dpad button off? will it still work?

if you do the one in the top of the pic, it'll work. if you do the one in the bottom of the pic, i'm not sure
