weird N64 portable modification

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

I don't know where you got that, but the screen and N64 are running on about 5V, not 12V.

I emailed the guy who did this, he put a DC-DC converter on the PCB on the bottom left.

It could be an 8-battery thing in the middle which 4 on a side, that'd make 12vdc.

[Hint] the PCB on the bottom right is the N64 [/hint]

I still think that he bypassed the 7805 on both the screen and N64, and fed 5V in, because that doesn't look like a double sided battery holder, and it's the only one I see.
