Congrats to Ben!

Congrats on the book deal, I can't wait.
So, is this thing going to have full color illustrations? Will it be paperback/hardcover?
I think it's a huge step in the right direction for you to make a living off of this kind of stuff, once that book comes outs I foresee these forums being swamped by people having seen your book, which will most likely be featured on all sorts of gaming sites.
Congrats again, can't wait to read it and see the new pics of upcoming portables.

Yeah, it sounds like it'll be great, and it's a great project. :)

I've been waiting for Andre Lamothe's book on how to create your own video gaming console and program for it... and it's taken a very long time. Obviously portablizing is a different form of art than computer and electrical engineering, but I certainly hope this book is timely and not pushed back many months. Sounds great! :P

whatever happened to this book? at first, it was in the news section, but then was replaced by the next bit of news instead of being being bumped down and being archived. some sort of problem with the book? ben, is this book still going to happen. why did it dissapear???

My guess is the book is by now a formality, all the info he's going to put into the book is being given to us as he has it.
I'll just wait until Oct. for its release.
