PStwo decal help?

So I'm going to be adding a decal to my PStwo, and I was wondering if there's any safe way to remove the fliptop so that there's no danger of damaging the system in any way? And if so, how is it done/what tools are needed?

decals huh, i might added some to my SNESp(would make it look nicer, of course that would be after i revise my current model, with L and R and smaller)
