Pimp Gear?

last night, while setting up my friend's newly aquired PSOne, i looked into the box it came in, and saw that the PSOne screen was laying above the dual shock controller, looking something like this.

and so, i devised the pimp gear. as you can see, the screen and the controller are joined together. i have heard of the hip gear, but it's a piece of crap. i plan on using the case of the PSOne screen and case as molds for vaccum forming to create a solid piece, and then i'll put the guts into the new case. im planning on attaching a multi-out cable to the pimp gear(PG for now), modding the screen for LEDs, and possibly making an open air mount for sony infolithium batteries under the controller, creating an instant portable! i plan on buying my own PSOne/screen and working on this as soon as i get my vacuum table completed(i just need to install a heater). i might even sell it when it's completed. more to come!

yes, i see that, but it's a CONCEPT, not an actual creation...

i've done some planning, and i've decided to install RCA jacks in the PG so it can also be used as a small tv. might even devise some diabolical way to put a tv tuner in this thing. oh, i installed the heater on my vacuum table, so now i have a fully fuctioning, self contained table. i just need to get some dirt cheap LCDs from somewhere like Ebay.
