sega genesis portable
I am very new to this but thought it would be sweet! if i made a sega genesis portable and was wondering if anyone could tell me step by step how to do it???

Already has all the composite out stuff, all the controller wires are separate and easy, good for a beginner.

Ive never opened up a Genesis before, so today i opened it up, and i couldnt beleive how small it was! I might do this first in stead of a DCp, cause ive never made a portable before and this looks like a good start...
How much would it cost to make one and could i use a PS1 screen? Is this the list i need?
-Sega Genesis
-PS1 Screen
-Controller
-Sawdering Tools

step by step walk through
sorry i don't have pics. i've never done this before, but here's a walkthrough if you're gonna use a genesis mobo:
1. open genesis (i assume genesis 3 has the smallest mobo)
2. trace the audio and video from the AV cable to find out the pinouts on the mobo. solder wires to them. also solder a wire to ground
3. http://benheck.com/ipw-web/bulletin/bb/ ... php?t=2278 that explains the video stuff
4. get a battery and/or voltage regulator and connect it to the screen and mobo. i don't know how much voltage the genesis takes, but my power supply says 9v. you could possibly use less if it has a voltage regulator
5. http://www.doomportables.tk/ has lots of useful info for pinouts and makeing cases and all sorts of stuff
