One more concept picture can't hurt

Post by Nibblet007 »

Other than study, this is the only thing I can really do while I wait for my supplies. I wouldn't dare try to do anything showy as I'm new to this kind of thing. There is no scale. I know it is probably far too thick and long, but as a basis, what do you think? I'm hoping to have the groove on each side with the L and R buttons in there. Done properly I think that would be pretty comfortable. Hopefully I'll get rid of the sharp edges too.

I made the pics brighter, same addresses as the first post.

I used Rhino 3D. Just the evaluation version. The only cripple is that you can't copy and paste, and you can only save 25 times. It's pretty fun to figure out and real usefull for me because I am freehand retarded at designing.

I think I may have to settle for using a wood case. I'm reading about different kinds of molds people have tried though. I'm much more concerned about strength and durability than style. I'm not sure how strong the type of plastic (or polyurathane?) that I could afford to make with a mold would be. I'm on a bit of a budget so CNC is not likely for me.

As it stands, wood is most likely what i'll be using.

i thought of a good concept pic but i can't make it because blender won't work on my computer :x . i blame my power supply but dad doesn't believe me , which is stupid because it's the same power supply he replaced in his computer because it wasn't powerful enough, and his computer is 1/2 as powerful as mine.
