It explains it in the book but i still dont understand why you have to use 2 nes controller, why cant just use the regular snes constroller?

Most snes controllers use a smt chip, but wiring 2 4021's from regular nes controllers will also work. It's just easier to use the 2 bigger chips :)

so you use the 2 nes controllers so you can seperate the d-pad and the buttons???

the NES controller ICs are easily desolderable (is that even a word :P?), so it's easier to use them when wiring a custom controller
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!
