Building a better Nomad

The games included in the Arcade Legends package are exactly the same software that shipped on cartridges when they were originally released. These aren't emulations: the hardware used for the controller is obviously true Genesis hardware shrunk down to fit a more compact, battery-powered unit.

And because they're the true, original games, two player games, like Golden Axe and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, offer two player options...even though there's only one controller, and no means to plug in a second one. It's a shame, too...all that's needed is the standard 9-pin port to plug in an additional pad. But nope...apart from Kid Chameleon's two-player alternate mode, the games in the Arcade Legends package are solo games.
Now if this is true, do you think it'd be possible to mod the thing, to take a flash card with roms, and build this into an ultra small Genesis portable? It's just a thought.

I think this topic shoud be under the Super Nintendo 16bit section just because it's 16bit.

I love liksang.com when ever they get somting new the always open it to see what's inside. They know that hardware hacking is a hobby that some of us have, so they will let you know when somthing has Potential.
here's what they posted.

So in theory this should work? Hmm...I'd love to try, but I'm extremely inexperienced with electronics, and already own a nomad. =P
