The Atari Flashback

Sounds like there is another remake from Atari, but this one is more like a console, instead of the whole thing in a controller. It'll be interesting to see if it is an emulator like other Atari knockoffs out there, or if it's the Super Joy of Atari (though it seems like it will be an emulator, but oh well, we have Ben's instructions to cut down an Atari board)

I'm hoping it's based around the actual hardware! It shouldn't be too hard in this day in age to put an intire 7800 on a chip.

Its sad they're not going to have Pitfall on that, if I can find other games I'd like then it would be much better in my eyes. As for being ther real thing it should look at the size of it compared to the controllers.

That's by Activison, which would mean 'big bucks' to get liscenses to include it on their collection.

Interesting....maybe a 7800 game will now be possible...I hope it is possible to attach a cartridge port to the ROM chip connectors and use it that way....
Warranty-Voiding fun!

I suppose it may have a 20-in-1 chip that was soldered for the game, that uses the same type of cartrige and everything, so you could make a cart port where the chip was... that would be cool
