WTB: Snes Power Switch

Post by goodie » Fri Nov 30, 2012 9:13 pm

This is kind of an odd request, but I'm fixing up a Super NES, and its power switch is broke. I can't seem to find any switches that are the right size to fit in there. Does anyone happen to have one they can sell? Or know of somewhere I can order a switch that is the same size/shape?
(It's an original model, not a mini, by the way. Not sure if there's a difference in their switches.)
Thanks.

Looks like the closest standard size is 1.125" spacing between the screw terminals. The SNES is 1.325" +/- a bit, but definitely not 1.125". Your best bet is to get one off another SNES. Look for an as-is for-parts auction on Ebay. Power switches are a really unusual thing to break, so you should be safe there. For that matter, are you 100% the switch is actually broken?
