ps2 slim battery question, need HELP please

ps2 slim battery question, need HELP please

Hello, the ps2 slim work on 8.5v but I want use 3.7v PO-LI battery, 3 of them give me 11.1v, if I use the original AC 8.5 adaptator, the ps2 will work ?? I want use this battery:

If I remember correctly the PS2 Slim's power does not go to a regulator so I think 9v is the max it will take.

But you can use a standard 7808 regulator to get 8v.

Or you can get a certain Revision PS2 slim that runs just fine on 7.4v

thank you, can you give me a little tutorial to solder the 7808 regulator on the system please ?
And can you confirm me that this battery work with the ps2 slim ? :)

Yes, but you'll need 3 of 'em. The second is bigger but will give you 1.5x the life, and you'll also need an 11.1V protection circuit and smart charger.

Can I use this DC-DC regulator Module to use 3 Li-Po 3.7v battery, so 11.1v on ps2 slim (8.5v) ?

I don't think it puts out enough amps.
