Wii Disk drive on a GCportable

I'm dealing with my GC Disk drive and (as I'm sure you know) its very thick and bulky.

I would like to know if you can use a Wii disk drive on a Gamecube to increase portability.

i know nothing about the wii disk drive so if someone can help that would be awesome

ive found that the info i get on this page is a lot easier to understand on this forum.

If you cannot understand those easy to find, very clear and already existing resources, you are not ready for this project. Nobody is going to rewrite them in a forum post and do a better job.

you should at least attempt to try to find information before asking someone to find it for you. This forum is not your private research team. a google search takes 5 seconds to do.

it's one thing to ask for help if your stuck, another to ask people to waste their time on you when you do not even make an attempt to look for something yourself.
