I'm very happy with the 64drive. I've found it to be very polished and user friendly. The only thing that could make it better would be a box art display of some description at the menu, imho.

I have a few questions that people may already have the answer to. Does the menu run default to 60hz when on a PAL n64?

I'm running mine on a (not too old) CRT tv. I've noticed feeding it a 60hz signal introduces a large amount of flicker to the picture. The menu on the 64drive exhibits this flickering. Can it be run at 50hz?

Also, I've been running the neon64 emulator on it to play some nes games. Pressing the C-UP button at the logo screen fixes the PAL detection and games run with the correct colour palette. But I have to do this every time I run it, otherwise the games start with messed up colours. Does anyone have any idea how I could patch the emulator to permanently enable this fix?

Any update on this, shipping wise?

I placed my order on the 16th of October, anyone who placed their order around then got theirs?

The last update on the official site;
As of Oct 27, still shipping out pre-orders
was 3 months ago.

Come on Marshall don't leave us in the dark, the suspense is killing me.

Edit 3/2/12: Mine has been shipped.

I have a pile of packages ready to go out in the next few days and I am always making more.
Been swamped lately but things are starting to get rolling again.
Also I've been trialing a new menu version and working on a secret project to use the untapped power of the 64drive ;)

Huge N64 fan here,

I have a couple questions and I hope you can help me guys.

I've read some reviews and one said there are issues while using a 1996's N64... is it true?

Also, I know it's been discussed a million times about Banjo Tooie, but just to be sure, is it possible that in the future this game wiil be playable withouth opening de 64drive?

And last one! he he if I preorder on in the next days, approximately when could you send the package, marshallh?

Thanks guys! have a nice day

I can't wait to see that new update Marshall! I just wanted to drop by a suggestion: you should update your purchase page with the average waiting time at the moment, as some people at Nintendoage are starting to get anxious (and the low e-mail response rate doesn't help either). I must say I always jump in your defense, and in your product's defense there ;) .

Oh, and is it possible to share the method-program you use to convert videos? It would be nerd-tastic.

Helpplease: Really? Why the hell do you get to jump ahead in line? >:(

(Aug 27th order here)

Edit: Apparently it wasn't a large jump. Just got my shipment email too. I think I'm going to cry now.

I've ordered on Aug. 24th and I'm still waiting for my shipping email. Maybe it's because I'm from a PAL (EUR) region.

I will check on yours. Paypal randomly removes the shipping label information for some old orders and it makes it easy to overlook.
I have October orders about half done, another batch going out tomorrow that will probably finish up that month.

Let me know if you are prior to October and still have not received a shipping email.
