SOPA is dead, but will surely return later in a "less severe" version. The funny thing is nobody outside of the music/movie industry wants this or anything similar passed. They have near unlimited funds and are always pushing this sort of crap on lawmakers. If such an organization has enough money to win ridiculous amounts in court cases and push these potential laws, they obviously aren't hurting for money like the 99% of the population.

Very good point, the film industry has ridiculous amounts of money. And armarares is right, it'll be back, I see it being more specific about music and movies and stuff next time around. Also, I hope one day we live in a world where we can download our shoes
