PSone screen- no video?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

PSone screen- no video?

Post by JonathanMC » Sun Oct 16, 2011 5:50 pm

Ok, I have an UNOPENED and UNMODIFIED psone screen. What I am doing is wiring an n64 to the psone A/V jack/plug and then plugging that into the screen. It isnt displaying any video, but I can hear the sound loud and clear. I've tried many different combinations of wiring but none seem to be any different... Amy help?

Is the brightness turned down? lol

Uh, it would be your wiring.

The brightness is all the way down... Wooooowwww. Thanks! That might not be it totally though. That like when I forgot to put a jumper pak in the. 64 and I thought the board was messed up.
EDIT- the brightness wasn't the problem
