Would it be possible to use the PS3 controller battery in an Xbox 360 controller and charge it via play and charge kit or regular USB?

Re: PS3 Controller Battery
Technically the answer is no, but it could be made to.
The PS3 battery is Li-Ion, while the 360 controller is setup to charge NiMH or NiCad battery packs, and they don't use the same kind of chargers.
You could install some small USB type Li-Ion charger, like for cell phone batteries, or build up your own, but you don't want to just install it and charge it the way it is now.
You'll also have far less run time on the PS3 battery pack, as it's 570mAh versus the 2100mAh of the 360's PnC pack.

Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.
