Is it ok to use a digital photo viewer instead ?

I was just wondering if it was ok to use a digital photo viewer screen instead of a psone screen or a zenith screen.

No. Not OK, and not feasible either. It could only work if it had composite input, and then the screens typically have low refresh rates/high latency.

Those portable 9-10" digital TVs they sell at Target will work too. Pretty much any device with a video input will work, provided you can get the console to output in a format the screen will accept.
