Cool, that cutting really isn't THAT bad, there are some frankencasers on this site who've done worse
Re: a little weekend project i did... opinions?
yeah, i guess i just get down on my self because i see cuts that are legitimately perfect and im like "wtf... why are my cuts sooooo bad compared to theirs?"

When in doubt, a smooth line of bondo goes a long way.
Re: a little weekend project i did... opinions?
If you're not doing so already, use a router attachment on your dremel (if you used a dremel) for your cuts, unless you have a router. That way you can cut in way smaller spaces than with a cutoff wheel. I use various bits to get a smoother cut edge after that, then I sand, bondo, sand, polish, and paint.

the router bits are useful for small holes, longer straighter cuts are better done with a cutoff wheel, or even scoring with an xacto knife and then breaking. walmart has a "wood burning kit" iirc that is basically a cheapo soldering iron, the reason its worth noting is the xacto blade tip that it has good for welding ABS too i'd be willing to bet
