There will be NO leds unless you add them yourself.

Great for my own debugging purposes.

I think he means you have to drill the holes yourself, as well.

200 bucks hey?

I gues we all shouldn't have been so excited about it...... ha ha ha.

Seriously though, I can't wait. Now I just have to get an NTSC N64 shipped over and do the RGB mod.

$200 is a very fair price considering the amount of Hardware that goes into it, and the amount of time put into making each one, as well as the years of hard work put into learning about how the N64 works and designing this beast.

Good work Marshall.

I've put my name and email down for info on the release. I will be buying one of these when it's completed. I can hardly wait!

quite the bargain considering right now its the ONLY worthwhile n64 cart emulator out there, i know of 2 others that exist the NEO N64 Myth Cart which is 200$ and can hold one 512mbit game. its an extra 70-90$ if you want increased storage (1024mbit or SD) and its way more basic than the 64drive. there is also a work in progress cart by some russian guy, which might cost less than the 64drive, but is probably nearly a year away from release, and is a lot more simple than 64drive in many regards

Now that Marshall answered my question about international shipping through mail(response = yes), I'm just worried about the initial run... will he make enough units to satisfy demand? when they run out, how long will it take for him to make more? I know he said he wouldn't do pre-orders, but I'd happily shell out my bucks since now to make him sure I want one.

Grr. Ebay pulled my CD64. I'll still be buying this, but probably not at release now.

Good work! Can't wait to get my hands on one.

I've noticed that you're always running it with an expansion pak. Is that necessary for that to work right, or will a jumper pak work too?

I designed the menu to work with either. I've tested both

Excellent.

I'm totally sold on this now. I'll dip into my savings if I need to. 8)

But really, who wouldn't have an expansion pack? Some of the best games [Perfect Dark, Majora's Mask] need the expansion kit to work.

You can play 1080 without an expansion pak

And to be honest OOT was waaay better than Majoras - And Perfect Dark was just average =.=
