PAL Gamecube Audio Wiring

Hi, I was just wondering if someone could draw/tell me how to wire the gamecubes audio to a speaker, I have searched through the forums and followed other diagrams (such as Kasar's) but have been unable to get audio to my speaker . I had to follow the trace from the video pin to a resistor to get the video to work, do i have to do something along the same lines?
