I tried powering it on but get no picture. No hdd power on either. So I disconnected the DVD drive. Got a picture and an error as expected. Next I changed the DVD drive. Got a picture for a split second and then garblygook. Any ideas?

Re: xBook Worklog (Now Powered via PicoPSU!!)
I went through my old notes and realized that the xbox alone draws 4.5-5 amps which is the limit to the PSU I'm using... so I probably still need that better PSU
I'm also thinking of just bypassing the fan being controlled by the xbox and just have a fan that constantly runs at a moderate rate.
Because when you shut the xbox off the fan kicks into full gear (because of some weird shorting issue that's my fualt)
I also went through and relinked the pictures so it looks pretty neat again
