Thanks everyone;) As a matter of fact, we didnt get grades at all... :? It was a strike the few days when the project was due for presentation, so the teachers only evaluated what they thought about the project during the work period, and they didnt like it... I dont get it, the norwegian school is filled with nitwits and twats;( :wtf:

The gradesystem is ranged from 1-6 where 6 is the best. The teachers gave me a 4 as final grade based on something they didnt even bother telling me... I filed a big complaint, but it got rejected so... Fk them, I got three portables and its awesome!! :P

Its the same 7" screen mario used in his sprocket 64. It is one of those dual-screen in car DVD player screens. One had the player and power supply on it, the other (one he used) just took 12v (to a 7805) and A/V in. He also found a way to do S-video from the schematics.

Not sure on the brand, though, and neither was Mario. There is a worklog for the N64p, but it had only about 3 updates, as it was made in less than 3 days.
Cheers,

I'll give this one a bump. Somehow I missed it before. It deserves some more praise :D

Well done metrolf!!! Its really good casework, and good case work can be tedious!

Thanks;P Bump all you want;P

Yeah, casework on the 64 was tedious, but worth it! Still, to be a bit self-criticising, it does look a bit better on the pictures than in real life...

I haven't been active on the forums lately, largely because of huge amounts of schoolwork, BUT I have a project that'll be done within the week and I can safely say; Its gonna be sweet and you'll all love it!

EDIT: And for those of you wanting info on the screen, here is the link to the worklog:

http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=36723

Really a bit fun to read all that stuff in the worklog :D We were such noobs, but it only goes to show how much one can learn from building a portable and generally hanging around these forums
