That looks great! Any shots of the internals?

I looked at the first pic and thought it was a rendering. That is some fine case work. Excellent job!

Fight MS Paint abominations! If you don't have a camera, go here, and pick something 3 megapixels or higher.

I initially thought it was a WVI! Wow!

I'm not really in the market as it were, but as you are in PAL territory, is this an NTSC system?

Holy hell! That is some fantastic case work!

The design flourishes like the outline around the controls and the gratuitous venting on the back are perfect! The Sony logo on front - did you have that cut out as well or did you lift it from something?

I know you're more interested in the "finished" pictures, but can we see how you have the controls and such mounted on the inside? Please? Just one pic? It looks like you were able to close it all up with just four screws - very nice!

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO COMPETE WITH THIS!?! Great work as always technott! You shouldn't have a hard time finding a buyer since it looks and performs beautifully. How did you make the case may I ask?

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll put the dimensions and internal pics on when I finish work. It's made from traffolyte. I cut it and engraved all the logos and graphics myself at home(cnc) then in-filled them with white paint(front sony and L&R). Rhinoceros is my cad program of choice, I love it, it's a bit like autocad but better imo. Also has built in cam software too(rhinocam), then finally Mach 3 for cutting it.

Damn you and your portable-building skills. Congrats on another masterpiece.
I have nothing clever to say here. Sorry.

Looking forward to seeing more! You've probably discussed this before, but is your CNC mill homemade or a commercial-ish type unit?

Dimensions are 240mm x 150mm x 37mm. I could have sworn I took some progress pictures but cant find them. I don't want to take it apart to take some because although there are only 4 screws, the power port surround is hot glued on so id have to clean it all off and re-glue it which is a pain. Here is a pic of a gamecube I did though, so you can see how I mounted the controls. I do them all this way. Ill do a build log or something next time.

My CNC machine is homemade but I used proper cnc parts to build it, such as linear rods and bearings, ball screws etc. Stepper motors and drivers are originally from a company called probotix in the US. The drivers they sell are crap and blow up far too easily though, so I bought some some 3.5A drivers from china and they are just awesome with the probotix motors.

Very clean work! I like how the screen and controller essentially become just one large board.

Perfect.., just perfect. What can I say more...

I always say 'I must also portablize this system' whenever I see a new piece from you.. :o

Your work inspires me guy..

BTW, when you take commission, you can take the one third of it at the beginning of the work. Buyers will be more reliable this way. I do this and it always works. Just an advice
I TAKE COMMISSIONS FOR CNC-ROUTED CASES AND PORTABLES... JUST P.M. ME!
